Najma Heptulla appointed Governor of Manipur

New Delhi: Former Union minister Najma A Heptulla was on Wednesday appointed as the Governor of Manipur.

Najma Heptulla was recently dropped as the Union Minister of Minority Affairs.

Further, veteran Delhi BJP leader Jagdish Mukhi has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Also, Banwarilal Purohit will be the new Governor of Assam while VP Singh Badnore will take charge of Raj Bhavan in Punjab.
