Mumbai helicopter crash: Joyride turns fatal in Goregaon's Aarey Colony; 1 dead, 3 injured

Mumbai: In an unfortunate incident, a helicopter crashed in Mumbai on Sunday.

Precisely, the tragic incident took place in Goregaon's Aarey Colony. 

The helicopter 'Robinson R44' crashed in Filter Pada area of Aarey Colony in Goregaon. The accident took place around 12:15 PM, media reports said.

Reportedly, 1 died in the accident while 3 others are injured.

They have been shifted to hospital for medical aid.

Reportedly, 1992-made 'Robinson R44' which was originally with Pawan Hans, was later sold to a private aviation company which used it for joy ride after repairing.

Two fire engines have been rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
