Phagwara (Punjab): Police on Monday seized a licensed revolver from a Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activist during BJP leader L K Advani`s rally here.
Police found the .32-bore revolver while frisking the youth, who had come to attend the rally, at the entry point of the venue.
The youth had heated arguments with security personnel following which he was taken into custody, SHO (City) Sarvan Singh Bal said.
He was identified as Kavit Ahuja of Hargobind Nagar, he said.
