Sankaranarayanan has greeted the people on the occasion of
Navroze, the beginning of Parsi New Year.
In a message, Sankaranarayanan said, "I have great
pleasure in extending my heartiest greetings to all citizens,
especially my Parsi sisters and brothers on the joyous
occasion of the Parsi New Year."
`Navroze`, to be celebrated tomorrow, is also the day of
new awakening in the realm of spiritual consciousness, he
said. "Let us on this occasion recall the eternal message of
Prophet Zoroaster, namely, good thoughts, good words and good
deeds," he added.
"I appeal the people to celebrate the New Year by sharing
their joy and happiness with fellow citizens, especially with
the poor and the underprivileged, he said.
