Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Wednesday clarified that "he did not give a clean chit" to anybody in Nepal when he reacted to the conspiracy theory about the royal massacre there.
When his attention was drawn to a statement made by former prime minister Chandrashekhar saying that it was not necessary for him (Vajpyee) to rule out conspiracy behind the killings, Vajpayee commented "All that I had said was that from here I cannot see any conspiracy".

"The Nepal government has set up a probe to go into the killings and truth will now come out", he added.
