Budget session of Arunachal Assembly to begin from March 21

Itanagar: The Budget session of the sixth Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh will begin from March 21 next.

Governor J P Rajkhowa in an order on Saturday summoned the session from March 21 which, would end on March 26 next, an assembly communique informed.

Chief Minister Kalikho Pul would present the budget for the financial year 2016-17.

Besides question hour, several important government bills are likely to be introduced in the six-day session.

After Pul and his 29 supporters merged with the PPA on March 3 last, the Congress would play the role of Opposition.

11 BJP MLAs and two Independent members are extending outside support to the Pul?s government.
