Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, will on Wednesday (April 27) announce the results of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations.

Odisha's Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra and Department Secretary Ranjana Chopra would be present at the office of the BSE in Cuttack during publication of Odisha 10th Class Result 2016.

According to Board president DP Nanda, students can check BSE HSC Annual Result on two websites - www.bseodisha.nic.in and www.indiaresult.com at 10 am.

 

Besides, students can also know their Odisha 10th Class Result 2016 through SMS to ORI10 space Roll Number and send it to 58888, Nanda said.

Replying to a question, Nanda said the candidates applying for re-addition, would have to apply online from May 2 to 11 on www.indiaresult.com.

 

As many as 6,01,348 students have appeared for the HSC examinations held at 2,882 centres across the state from February 22 to March 4. As many as 16,000 teachers participated in the evaluation of answer sheets.

The Board authorities said no result booklets would be published this year as the results along with the marksheet would be available on the website itself.

"This year we will have only statistics booklet," Nanda said.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) also announced that results for the Plus II Science examination would be published in the second week of May.

CHSE chairman Basudev Chhatoi said the results would hopefully be published before the stipulated time in order to facilitate the students to participate in national level entrance tests and to take admission in engineering and medical streams.
