Couple commits suicide in Lucknow

Lucknow: A couple allegedly committed suicide
by jumping in front of a freight train in Malihabad area,
police here said Thursday.

The incident occurred last evening when the unidentified
couple shocked onlookers by jumping in front of a goods train,
while minutes before they seemed to be taking a stroll near
Kaithulia village, they said.

The couple was in the age group of 25 and 30 years,
police said, adding that efforts were being made to ascertain
their identity.
