Muzaffarnagar: A farmer was allegedly shot dead by unidentified men in his house at Baseda village under Chapar police station in the district, police said.
40-year-old Akhter was shot dead last night when he was sleeping in his house.
A case has been registered in this connection.
In another incident, 22-year-old Aslem allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Chapar village in the district, police said.
A probe is on in the incident.
