Bulandshahr: A 35-year-old woman immolated herself, along with her four minor children, at Khuryawali village in Arniya area of the district following a tiff with her husband on Friday.
According to Police Circle Officer Shailendra Srivastava, the woman, Suman, poured kerosene on herself and four children aged between three and 12 years and set all afire this afternoon after she had a tiff with her husband Ramkishore (40), a farm labourer.
Ram Kishore left home in morning after which the incident took place. The matter came to light after he returned home. After seeing the scene, he fell unconscious and has been admitted to the government hospital at Khurja, the police officer said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further investigations are on, the police officer added.
