Army jawan killed, 3 others injured in IED blast near international border in Manipur
An Army jawan was killed and three others, including a JCO, were injured after a power IED blast hit the vehicle they were travelling in along NH-102 near Moreh in Manipur.

Imphal: An Army jawan was killed and three others, including a JCO, were injured after a power IED blast hit the vehicle they were travelling in along NH-102 near Moreh in Manipur.
The location is very close to the international border with Myanmar.
Reports said that the IED was triggered using a remote-control when the personnel of the 165 Territorial Army were passing by.

The injured were shifted to an army hospital at Leimakhong near the state capital.

A helicopter was pressed into service to air-lift at least four of the injured personnel.
