‘Fat to Fit’ makeover: Here's what Aamir Khan’s family has to say

Mumbai: Superstar Aamir Khan, who is known as Mr Perfectionist in Bollywood raised his own bar while filming for his upcoming movie Dangal.

A video was posted by UTV Motion Pictures on their Facebook profile which not only shocked everyone but also gave them major fitness goals shows how Aamir underwent rigorous training to lose 97 kgs and form a 6-pack abs for the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.

While fans were inspired by the massive transformation, Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao and mother were concerned for the actor. A report in Indian Express quoted the PK actor as saying, “Kiran and my mother were worried about my health. I was only worried about my character in the movie. I was not thinking about my health,” he told media here when asked on the same”.

While the wife and mother were worried, little son Azad was happy with Aamir’s ‘cuddly’ body.  “Azad liked me with my weight as he found me to be more cuddly that way so when he hugged me there was more of me to hug!” a report in Filmfare quoted the actor. 

Dangal is based on the story of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat’s journey of making his daughters international level wrestlers. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on December 23, 2016.
