Los Angeles: Actor Jeremy Piven says sexual harassment allegations against him "are absolutely false and completely fabricated".

Piven denied the allegations through a Twitter post, reports deadline.com.

"What I am not able to do is speculate as to the motivations of these women, as a human being I feel compassion for the victims of such acts, but I am perplexed as to the misdirection of anger with false accusations against me and hope they do not detract from the stories that should be heard," Piven wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

Piven has been accused of sexual assault by multiple women. Advertising executive Tiffany Bacon Scourby said that Piven attacked her in 2003 at the Trump International Hotel & Tower in New York.

Another woman has accused the actor of exposing himself during a 2011 party. Actress Ariane Bellamar and Cassidy Freeman have also slammed Piven with sexual misconduct charges.
