Baahubali star Prabhas' film 'Mr Perfect' in trouble- Here's what happened

New Delhi: Tollywood rom-com, 'Mr Perfect' released in the year 2011 and was a major commercial success. The movie starred 'Baahubali' actor Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles. It was helmed by Dasaradh with Dil Raju as the producer.

According to reports, producer Dil Raju has been booked on plagiarism charges for the movie.

According to a report in firstpost, novelist Shyamala Rani accused the 2011 hit film of having similarities to her novel 'Na Manasu Ninnu Kore' that came out in the year 2010. 

The Firstpostreport, originally attributed to the Deccan Chronicle says that Rani filed a complaint against both the director and the producer of the 2011 film. The report also says that the story of the movie was provided by KS Ravindra aka Bobby. 

No notice has been received by Dasaradh and Raju. However, a Deccan Chronicle report says that a confirmation has been given by Madhapur DCP Viswa Prasad that the novel and the film will be compared closely as part of the investigation.
