Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's new 2.0 posters are captivating

Mumbai: The makers of 2.0 have unveiled brand new posters of the film to drop hints about the two main characters in the sci-fi entertainer starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.

In one of the posters, we can see Rajini in Chitti's (The Robot) avatar and in the other a wild crow representing Akshay Kumar's character.

2.0, a sequel to Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer sci-fi film Robot / Enthiran released in 2010, is a mega-budget project. The makers have reportedly spent a whopping 75 million dollars on the VFX which amounts to Rs 543 crores approximately.

Directed by Shankar, 2.0 bankrolled Lyca Productions also stars Amy Jackson as the female, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in supporting roles.

The music for the film which was launched at a gala event in Dubai last year has been composed by Oscar Award-winning composer A R Rahman. 

The makers of the film have left no stone unturned to promote the film which promises to showcase world-class VFX a la Hollywood style.

The film slated to release on November 30 marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar.
