Chandigarh: Two persons including a coach were booked on the charge of sexual harassment following a complaint lodged by an 18-year old Wushu player in Rohtak, police said today.
Accused identified as Rajesh (coach) and Sandeep have been booked under section 354 A of the IPC at women police station at Rohtak, police said.
As per complaint lodged by the Wushu player on December 5, Rajesh had been allegedly pressurising her to have physical relations with her. He allegedly even threatened her to spoil her carrier by not allowing her to play further, as per victim's complaint.
Victim, a resident of Bhagwatipur in Rohtak, alleged that she had gone to Narwana (Jind) to play senior state tournament in November 2013. There she was called by coach Rajesh and he allegedly held her and started molesting her, she said in the complaint.
When she started crying, coach felt sorry for the act. But later he threatened that if she did not maintain physical relations with her, he would not allow her to play again, the complainant alleged.
She said that she had been constantly pressurised by accused to be physical with him.
Complainant alleged that when she reported the matter to Sandeep (team manager), he also allegedly asked her to give into the demand of Rajesh.
