New Delhi: Novak Djokovic is expecting a fierce battle with an old friend and familiar protagonist when he makes a bid for history in the Australian Open final against Andy Murray on Sunday.

World number two Murray also lost to Roger Federer in the 2010 final and is looking to become the first man to lose four finals at a grand slam before finally winning the title.

Here are some other interesting facts as the world's top two tennis player get set to battle it out at the Rod Laver Arena.


1) Sunday's final will be the 31st duel between the two, with Djokovic having won 21.

2) Since Murray beat the Serb in the 2013 Wimbledon final, the world number one has beaten the Briton just once in the last 10 matches.
