Petrol, Diesel price on April 1: Jet fuel price witnesses hike by 2%

Aviation turbine fuel was raised by Rs 2,258.54 per kilolitre, or 2%, to Rs 1,12,924.83 per kilolitre in the national capital. The hike in fuel costs is due to disruptions in supply chains and the resulting increase in global oil prices as a result of the crisis in Ukraine. On Thursday, crude oil prices tumbled 7% to slightly above $100 a barrel.

Aviation Turbine Fuel price cut 23 per cent, costs one-third of petrol, diesel

On May 3, aviation turbine fuel price was cut by Rs 6,812.62 per kilolitre, or 23.2 per cent, to Rs 22,544.75 per kl in the national capital, according to a price notification by state-owned oil marketing companies.
