Death toll in Kerala's Idukki district landslide increases to 52
Few reports said that the water level at Mullaperiyar reservoir in Idukki district has reached 136.85 feet by Tuesday afternoon. The water level has receded in many low-lying areas of Kottayam and Alappuzha districts.

Death toll in Kerala's Idukki district landslide rises to 49
The death toll in the landslide, that destroyed a row of 20 houses of tea estate workers, in Idukki district of Kerala rose to 49 on Monday evening. The special task force team found six more bodies till 2 pm in the Rajamala Pettimudi tragedy. A total of 12 people who were rescued from the landslide site are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Idukki landslide death toll rises to 43, 17 more bodies recovered
Three days after settlements of estate workers were swept away by devastating landslides at Pettimudi near Rajamala, various agencies engaged in the rescue operations on Sunday recovered 17 bodies.

Kerala landslide claims 14 lives, many feared trapped; PM announces ex-gratia
At least 14 people were killed and dozens feared trapped in debris after a landslide took place on Friday at Rajamalai in Idukki district of Kerala. The incident is said to have occurred in the wee hours when a huge mound of earth fell on the "row houses". Expressing grief at the loss of lives, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for kin of those who have lost their lives.

Major landslide in Kerala's Idukki district; 5 dead, 80 workers feared trapped
Landslide took place at Rajamala near Munnar on Friday. 5 persons were killed and several were injured. 80 tea estate workers are feared trapped in the area.
