BMC makes negative COVID-19 test mandatory to enter shopping malls in Mumbai
Mumbai has made RT-PCR COVID-19 test report mandatory for people entering the shopping malls in the city. "A team will be designated at the entrance for this very purpose. The details are being worked out," said Mumbai civic body.

Rajasthan makes COVID-19 negative report mandatory for people from four states
A COVID-19 negative report from an RT-PCR test taken up to 72 hours prior to entering the state is mandatory for people coming from Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Citizens coming from Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat who need to enter Rajasthan will have to present a COVID-19 negative report on arrival.

MPs to undergo RT-PCR tests, LED screens to be put for Monsoon Session
Hectic preparations are underway for Parliament’s upcoming Monsoon Session with several first-time measures being taken because of the coronavirus pandemic. These new measures include testing of MPs, staggered seating arrangements in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, and the use of both chambers and galleries to accommodate the members. The monsoon session of Parliament is scheduled from September 14 to October 1. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that 257 members will be seated in the Lok Sabha hall, 172 in the Lok Sabha gallery, 60 in Rajya Sabha, and 51 in the Rajya Sabha gallery due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Maharashtra caps maximum price for RT-PCR tests by private labs at Rs 2,200
In a major reprieve to common people, the Maharashtra government on Saturday capped the maximum price for COVID-19 tests (RT-PCR), which is conducted to detect coronavirus, at Rs 2,200. This was announced by Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
