India airlifts around 110 people including Afghans nationals from Kabul

The flight is repatriating the stranded Indian citizens there and distressed Afghan citizens. The India World Forum said that after their arrival, the Afghan nationals will be rehabilitated by Sobti Foundation.

56 pregnant nurses stranded abroad demands evacuation; petition filed in HC

55 of the pregnant nurses are stranded in Saudi Arabia and 1 is in Kuwait. The petition says that all of them are in serious distress and need immediate medical as well as psycho-socio support. It further also adds that they are exposed to hazards that put them at risk of infection.

Air India flights take off from Kerala to bring stranded Indians from UAE

The flight to Kochi will take off from Abu Dhabi at 4.15 pm and reach the destination at 9.40 pm, while the other to Kozhikode is scheduled for departure from Dubai at5 pm and arrive at 10.40 pm, official sources said.

Will do everything to bring back stranded Indians in Saudi: VK Singh

Minister of state for External Affairs VK Singh on Tuesday said that the Centre would do everything to get exit visas for Indian workers stranded in Saudi Arabia, who had lost their jobs due to the economic slowdown there.
