No Sunday lockdown in Tamil Nadu, but here are Covid-19 rules still in place

The government decided that there would not be a complete lockdown on Sunday (January 30). Restaurants, cinema theatres, gyms, garment and jewellery shops, spas and salons are allowed to function with 50% occupancy. The restriction on social, cultural and political gatherings will continue.

The state will see complete lockdown on Sunday, the state government said. The lockdown will begin at 10 pm on Saturday and remain in place till 5 am on Monday. Only essential services will be allowed to function during the lockdown hours.
