Pune: Four second-half goals helped visitors East Bengal overcome a 0-1 half time deficit and defeat hosts Mumbai FC 4-1 in the third round I-League clash at the Balewadi Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Mumbai FC took the lead through S Kuttymani in the 33rd minute and held on to it till the 69th minute.
However, no one could guess what was to happen as East Bengal pumped in four successive goals through Sanju Pradhan (69th), Tolgay Ozbey (71st), Reisangmi Vashum (82nd) and Alan Gow (90+4) to register their first win of the I-League season. East Bengal have four points from three games, while Mumbai FC, who suffered their second loss, have three points from as many games. PTI
