Acting is full of uncertainty: Karan Grover

Television star Karan Grover, who has became the quintessential face of small screen in India, says he came into acting by chance.

New Delhi: Television star Karan Grover, who has became the quintessential face of small screen in India, says he came into acting by chance. The 29-year-old actor left his training of chemical engineering and stepped into the showbiz four-years-ago.
"I don`t like to plan my career and take unnecessary tensions. I am a happy-go-lucky person and I know that very well that an acting job is full of uncertainty. Before getting into acting, I enrolled myself into chemical engineering but realised engineering is not my forte and I wanted to do something else," Karan said. He is currently working in Rajshri Productions daily soap ‘Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli’ being aired on Zee TV. In the show, he portrayed double role before the show took a new turn. "I have always tried to give myself a different look in my soaps. In this serial, I have played double role of two brothers before the serial completed its 500 episodes. It was a tough job because television is immediate and it gives you very less time to prepare for your character," Karan said. The serial has so far helped him to make his mark as a household name in the small screen and has also poured many awards in his kitty like Favorite Beta and Favourite Popular Face Male of the year. "I feel humbled and motivated after getting those awards. But at the same time I also feel that I should work 24X7 to keep up this tag," he added. PTI
