GTA V's Rockstar Editor comes to PS4, Xbox One next month

The editor will make its console debut on PS4 and Xbox One in September.

Rockstar has announced that it is rolling out the editor on both Xbox One and PS4 for their game Grand Theft Auto V.

According to the Verge, the tool, known as Rockstar Editor, allows the players to record in-game footage, and then customizes it with different camera angles, sound effects and music, and then share them online.

Also, the director mode allows the users cut up gameplay clips to create their own mini-movies and make music videos.

This feature is already available on the PC version of the game.

The console version appears the same as on PC and in September all three versions will be updated with new features, including new sound effects and fonts to choose from, as well as an improved director mode that gives the users the power to freeze chosen time of day settings and the ability to spawn air and water vehicles.
