Panaji: BJP chief Amit Shah on Sunday visited a waste treatment plant, which processes garbage collected from coastal belt of the North Goa district.

Shah, who is on a two-day visit to the coastal state since yesterday, was accompanied by Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, during his visit to the facility at Saligao village.

The BJP president spent 15 minutes at the facility, about 10 km from here, before heading for his next event.
