Twist in Jind rape and murder case, suspected accused found dead
The body of the 15-year-old victim had 19 injuries, mostly on head, face, and chest and her lungs were also ruptured.

JIND: The body of the man suspected of raping and murdering case a 15-year-old Dalit girl in Jind was found in Kurukshetra on Wednesday. The body was reportedly found in a decomposed state.
The police had launched a manhunt to nab the suspected accused after they recovered the half-naked body of a 15-year-old Dalit girl with injury marks. Her body was recovered from near a canal in Budhakhera village of Jind district in Haryana on January 14.
The victim was reported to be missing since January 9 from Kurukshetra.
The girl had suffered internal injuries after accused inserted a pointed object into her private parts. Her body had 19 injuries, mostly on head, face, and chest. Also, her lungs were ruptured.
Police have constituted two special investigation teams (SITs) under DSP-rank officers to probe the incident. They .had earlier said that they believe the number of persons involved in the crime could be more than three.
