World AIDS Day: ಇಂದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಏಡ್ಸ್ ದಿನ. ಈ ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ರೋಗವನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲಿದೆ. ಈ ರೋಗ 1986 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ 1987 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಇತ್ತಿಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ ಐವಿ ಪೀಡಿತರ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಹರಡುವಿಕೆಯೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
