A 24-year-old man died after being run over by an SUV carrying BS Yeddyurappa’s son Raghavendra

Bangalore: A 24-year-old man died on the spot after an SUV carrying BS Yeddyurappa’s son Raghavendra ran over him. The incident took place in Madapura, Karnataka, reported news agency ANI.

The police registered a complaint against Raghavendra.

According to reports, the deceased was getting off an autorickshaw when the SUV plowed over him.

Yeddyurappa is the current state BJP president and a Lok Sabha MP. He was the chief minister of Karnataka from 2008 to 2011.

Raghavendra is a legislator from the Shikaripura constituency – the same constituency from where Yeddyurappa was elected to the state Assembly seven times. He became the MLA after winning the by-poll from the constituency in 2014.
