New Delhi: Sounding jubilant over the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) latest trends, which clearly indicate a major victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), senior party leader leader Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said that urban voters are angry with the Congress party.

The BJP leader said that there were three reasons for BJP’s win, first of which was the good governance provided by the BJP-led MCD.
“Horrible corruption enacted by the Congress party and the price rise are the other two issue which led to Congress’ loss and BJP’s gain,” Naidu added.

Naidu slammed Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit saying that she wanted to weaken BJP and conspired against it by splitting the MCD into three parts. “She has failed as latest trends show that BJP is winning in all three civic bodies," Naidu said.

The BJP leader also said that his party will win the Vidhan Sabha elections.
