Kaushambi: A 40-year-old woman was hacked to death with an axe allegedly by her brothers in Manjhanpur area here, police said on Sunday.
Subihiti Devi was hacked by her brothers Suresh and Naresh with an axe yesterday night when she was alone in her house, police said.
The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained as yet.
Police is probing into the matter and the body has been sent for postmortem.
