Lucknow: In a shocking incident, a video clip of a married woman who was allegedly gang-raped in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit district has surfaced on social media.

The alleged victim along with her infant baby had gone missing since last year on November 23 while she was travelling to Badaun.

According to victim's elder sister, the family had approached Sungarhi Police Station to file a missing complaint, but to their despair the cops didn't initiate swift action.

The sister further revealed that her brother had received an MMS on his phone a few days ago, in which their sister was seen being gang-raped by six persons.

The victim's kin said that after seeing the video her brother wanted to kill himself. She also accused the police of taking no action and held the officials responsible for her sister's plight.

Seeing the disturbing footage, the family has once again approached the police, which in turn has initiated a probe into the matter.

Meanwhile, the Police have claimed that the video which has gone viral on the Internet was there on November 22 also.
