Woman charred to death in Firozabad

Firozabad (UP): An unidentified woman was on Monday allegedly charred to death by some persons in Makhanpur area here, police said.

The incident came to light this morning when some locals heard noises coming from a dilapidated house. On reaching there they found the lady, aged about 40 years, in flames, police said.

She was rushed to the hospital with 99 per cent burn injuries and was declared brought dead by the doctors.

The deceased has not been identified yet, they said, adding, the matter is being probed.
