Shanghai: Apple fanboys and fangirls in China are willing to go any length to lay their hands on the coveted new iPhone 6.
Case in point a Shanghai student who offered to 'rent out' his girlfriend reportedly to generate cash to buy the iPhone 6.
The post which went viral on China's Weibo social media network shows a youngster advertising his 'girlfriend share' on a placard near the Songjiang University campus.
His placard advertises deals available by the hour, day or month, reported Daily Mail.
However, his placard makes it clear that no "funny business" would be allowed and interested people could eat, study and enjoy 'three-person dates' with her.
His sign read: “Sharing girlfriend for pocket money. 10 Chinese Yuans per hour, 50 Chinese Yuans per day and 500 Chinese Yuans a month. If you are interested, connect to personal hotspot 'wifi sharing master' to check her out."
China's penchant for Apple gadgets is well documented. Earlier, a teenage high-school student had sold his kidney and used the money to buy an Apple iPhone and iPad.
