2016-17 Champions League Group Stage: Preview, TV Schedule, Fixtures, Predictions

New Delhi: Months of wait for European football ends tonight as the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League group stage gets under way this Tuesday and Wednesday.

A total of 32 teams from all across the Europe begin their quest for continental domination.

A number of title favourites begin their journey on Day 1 - Barcelona playing host to Celtic, Bayern Munich welcome Rostov and Paris Saint-Germain at home to Premier League giants Arsenal.

Pep Guardiola led Manchester City also begin their first European campaign, playing host to Germany's Borussia Monchengladbach just days after a 2-1 derby victory over Manchester United.

Last season's finalists Atletico Madrid will open their tournament away to PSV Eindhoven.
