China pulls out 10,000 troops from LAC, possibly due to harsh winter
Sources close to the development said the withdrawal of troops from training facilities located in depth areas may have taken place due to the harsh winter, adding it does not have any impact on their operational deployment in any of the areas along the LAC.

India reviews situation in eastern Ladakh amid border row with China at LAC
The government on Friday carried out a comprehensive review of the overall situation in eastern Ladakh including India's operational preparedness in view of the continued belligerence by the Chinese army. The meeting also deliberated on arrangements being made to maintain the current level of troops and weapons in all forward areas in eastern Ladakh and other sensitive high-altitude sectors in the harsh winter months.

Rajnath Singh to address Rajya Sabha today on India, China border row
In his statement on Tuesday in Lok Sabha on the same, Singh had said India has conveyed to China that its attempt to unilaterally alter the status quo along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh was unacceptable. India and China have been engaged in a standoff position since April-May timeframe and the Chinese have refused to vacate areas in the Finger area and other friction points in the Eastern Ladakh area.

India, China Brigade Commander level talk on LAC border dispute underway
The interaction has been happening on a daily basis since last many days except with an interlude on Monday and Tuesday when the Chinese side allegedly indulged in provocative action around Rezang La at LAC. The aim of the talks is to "exchange views on daily activities so that there's no misunderstandings and make sure the communication lines are open".

China tried to breach Indian border using motor boats on Sept 8: Sources
Amid simmering tensions between Indian and Chinese troops at Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, Chinese troops once again tried to intrude into Indian territory on Tuesday (September 8). The Chinese troops tried to intrude into Indian territory using motor boats on the western shore of Pangang Lake but they returned after seeing the Indian troops. On Monday (September 7), a group of 25-50 Chinese soldiers had come to capture the Mukherpari hill in Chushul, but they were thwarted in their attempt by Indian solders.

China’s Global Times warns New Delhi has no chance of winning war
China’s Global Times has warned New Delhi has no chance of winning the war, however, India has rejected the claim Union Ministry of Defence on Tuesday (September 8) rejected China's claim that the Indian army crossed the Line of Actual Control and fired “warning shots” near the Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh. The Ministry of Defence said in a statement that China continues to undertake provocative activities to escalate and at no stage has the Indian Army transgressed across the LAC. The statement also added that Indian Army didn't resort to use of any aggressive means, including firing.

What happened between Indian, Chinese troops at Pangong Lake on September 7
On Monday (September 7) too, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) tried to intrude from Southern end of the Pangong Lake in Ladakh but the Chinese troops were once again pushed back by Indian forces patrolling along the LAC. This is the third time that the PLA has been defeated by brave Indian soliders at the LAC in the last 83 days. According to sources, China wanted to repeat the Galwan incident, in which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred on June 15, on Monday.

Indian Army displays its might in Ladakh, repels intruding Chinese soldiers
According to sources, the incident took place between 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm on Monday evening in which 25–50 Chinese troops were seen moving towards north of Rezang La. The Chinese soldiers were moving towards the Indian territory and the Indian Army opened fire as a warning in retaliation to China's nefarious attempt. China claimed that the Indian army crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and said that the Indian troops fired “warning shots” near the Pangong Tso lake in eastern Ladakh to which their soldiers took “countermeasures”.
