Budget 2022 News
From common citizens to tax traders, there are many expectations from 2023's budget. Keshav Bhajanka, The Executive Director of Century Ply, has many expectations from Indian Government on this year's budget session. He said, 'Government should give Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI) or Candidate Incentive even on furniture exports.'
He noted that the commitment towards self-reliance can be seen in the recently introduced Union Budget. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that the government is committed to promoting self-reliance in the defence sector. She said that the local industry would receive 68 per cent of the capital allocated to the defence sector.
The programme is aimed at bringing industry leaders, policymakers and government officials together to deliberate upon the positive impact of the budget. The conclusions from this webinar will then be presented to various Ministries so that they may tweak their strategies for better implementation of these programmes.
Ms Sitharaman will be in Mumbai between February 21 and 22, according to a tweet. FM will hold a post-Budget2022 interaction with Maharashtra stakeholders from business and commerce, as well as significant tax payers and chosen experts. Ms Sitharaman has increased capex by 35.4 percent to 7.5 lakh crore for 2022-23 in order to maintain the pandemic-wounded economy's public investment-led recovery.
