DNA Exclusive: Analysis of new bridge being built by China in eastern Ladakh

Ministry of External Affairs said it is aware of reports of China building the second bridge across Pangong. Bagchi said he was not sure if it is the second bridge or an expansion of the first one. Bagchi said that we monitor such developments and the ministry could not comment on it from a military perspective.

According to sources, the incident took place between 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm on Monday evening in which 25–50 Chinese troops were seen moving towards north of Rezang La. Chinese troops entered Pangong with ropes, trekking tools; know inside story
The Chinese People`s Liberation Army troops with help of ropes and other climbing equipment started climbing at a table-top area between Black Top and Thakung Heights at Pangong Tso`s south bank. At least 500 Chinese soldiers gathered in Thakung area of Pangong with tanks. The Indian Army was already ready and China had to kneel before the might of the Indian soldiers. The attempt was thwarted by the Indian troops, the Army said on Monday.
