Door-to-door collection for Ram Mandir stopped, Here’s how you can donate now

The General Secretary of the Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust, Champat Rai on Saturday (March 6) said that the door-to-door fund collection drive for Ram Mandir has stopped. Now the devotees can donate online by visiting the trust’s website.

Ram Mandir trust runs out of locker space, asks people ‘not to donate silver'

The Supreme Court-mandated Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust asked donors not to donate silver bricks anymore as the bank lockers overflow. The trust revealed has received over four quintal (400 Kgs) of silver bricks from donors all over the country.

The accounts of the trust in three nationalised banks show an amount of over Rs 1,000 crore, he said. Rai said nearly 1.50 lakh VHP activists are collecting funds for the Ram temple. Thirty-seven activists have been deputed to deposit the donations in the bank accounts.
