Two officers of UP Power Corporation were allegedly attacked with rods when they had gone to disable electricity connection at a defaulter's house here.

Muzaffarnagar: Two officers of UP Power Corporation were allegedly attacked with rods when they had gone to disable electricity connection at a defaulter's house here.
The incident took place under Kandha police station in Shamli district yesterday, police said.
Junior engineer Irfan Amil and lineman Vinod Kumar were seriously injured and their vehicle allegedly damaged by the defaulter Shital, his two sons and some villagers.
The injured were later admitted to a hospital, they said.
The accused have been arrested and a case registered against them.
