Jangipur Lok Sabha Constituency is one of the 42 parliamentary constituencies of the state of West Bengal. The Jangipur Lok Sabha Constituency was formed prior to the 1967 elections. 

Abhijit Mukherjee of Indian National Congress, Khalilur Rahaman of All India Trinamool Congress, Mafuja Khatun of Bharatiya Janata Party, Md. Zulfikar Ali of Communist Party of India (Marxist) and Samimul Islam of Bahujan Samaj Party are a few prominent candidates contesting for general elections 2019 from Jangipur Lok Sabha Constituency of West Bengal. 

The Jangipur Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 9) comprises of the seven Vidhan Sabha assembly segments of which two are reserved for the SC category.
