The government will present the Budget for fiscal 2022-23 on February 1. During such times, the ability to borrow funds at rational pricing became difficult, it added. Banks' lending to NBFC under priority sector should be made permanent, the industry body suggested.

Assocham said the full credit must be given to the RBI for prioritising growth and retaining the accommodative stance on policy rates.
