In a detailed press statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said Prime Minister Modi began his address by extending greetings of friendship and goodwill from the people of India to Ethiopian lawmakers.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister took the special initiative of personally taking Prime Minister Modi to the Science Museum and Friendship Park, which were not part of the official itinerary. PM Modi begins a three-nation tour of Jordan, Ethiopia and Oman to boost trade ties, following India-Oman FTA approval, aiming to expand India’s economic footprint in West Asia and Africa.
