US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that he had imposed visa restrictions on Chinese officials and others for these reasons. Pompeo's arrival will reportedly mark the fourth visit to India by a Secretary of State during the Donald Trump Administration. US released a fact sheet which stated that as of 2020, they have authorized more than $20 billion in defense sales to India.
