BJP announces 'Know Namo' quiz, launches website and e-book on PM Modi

The ruling BJP, which is organising ‘Seva Saptah’ to celebrate the 70th birthday of PM Narendra Modi, on Thursday (September 17, 2020) announced ‘Know NaMo quiz’, inaugurated a website and released an e-book to mark the occasion. Union Minister Prakash Javdekar and BJP vice president Shyam S Jaju inaugurated the website and released an e-book at the BJP headquarters in Delhi on the occasion of PM Modi’ birthday. While urging people to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday through the Namo App, the BJP also announced the start of the "Know Namo" quiz whose winners will get books autographed by the PM. The quiz which begins today will have questions on PM Modi and BJP.

On PM Modi's 70th birthday, Surat bakery makes 71-feet-long cake

To mark the occasion of PM Narendra Modi`s 70th birthday on Thursday, a bakery in Gujarat`s Surat made a 71-feet-long cake weighing 771 kilograms, with the theme of `corona warriors` and is set to distribute it amongst children. As part of the celebration, the bakery will also host a digital event wherein parts of the cake will be sold at several outlets of the bakery and the cake cutting ceremony will be held digitally. For the past three years, Narendra Modi`s birthday was celebrated by the Breadliner bakery along with a social awareness program, said Nitin Patel, the organiser of the event. This year, the cake has been labelled `Cake for corona warriors` in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
