UK Typhoon Eurofighters intercept 5 Russian warplanes
The RAF Typhoon Eurofighters were scrambled on Monday to intercept a Russian Antonov AN-26 Curl transport aircraft and then later in the day a Russian TU-142 Bear Bomber and two Su-27B fighters were tracked following which the Typhoons were once again tasked with escorting aircraft.

RAF Typhoon fighters intercept Russian military aircraft near Estonia
According to an RAF press release on the incident, the Typhoons are operating from Amari Air Base on a routine NATO mission in partnership with Estonia. In the last couple of months, the Typhoons have also been called in to intercept Russian fighter jets including Sukhoi Su-30s and Su-27s.
