Delhi Court released Bhim Army's chief Chandra Shekhar on bail. He was released on various conditions where he has been told not to stay in the capital for one month. He has been directed by the court that he should respect the position of the Prime Minister's chair and other government organizations.
The Commission issued notices to the Chief Secretary, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Commissioner of Police, Delhi and the Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, calling for a detailed report in the matter within six weeks along with action taken against the errant officials along with relief and rehabilitation provided to the next of kin of the deceased and the injured persons.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday filed an application in the Delhi High Court seeking clarification of its Sunday`s order in the Tiz Hazari clash. The ministry had moved the clarification on the aspect that the order pertains to only the FIRs that have been registered on November 2 when the incident took place and is not applicable to any subsequent event.
