Women's T20 Challenge: Ecclestone's four-fer helps Trailblazers beat Velocity

With the win, Trailblazers climb up to the top of the three-team standings while Velocity and Supernovas occupy the second and third place respectively. Chasing a target of 48 runs, Deandra Dottin (29 not out) and Richa Ghosh's (13 not out) took Trailblazers to a thumping nine-wicket win. Earier, Sophie, along with experienced India pacer Jhulan Goswami and Rajeshwari Gayakwad rattled Velocity to bundle them out for 47 runs in 15.1 overs.

Women’s T20 Challenge: Velocity edge past Supernovas by 5-wickets

In the first Women's T20 challenge match of the season, Velocity defeated Supernovas by 5 wickets. Batting put into bat, Supernovas only managed 126/8 from their 20 overs with Chamari Atapatu top-scoring with 44. Chasing the total, Sune Luus scored a rapid-fire 37* to take Velocity to a late 5-wicket win.

Coming out to bat in the 11th over with the team score at 53 for 2, the India Women T20 captain struck a quickfire 51 off 37 balls which comprised of four boundaries and three sixes to take her side to the threshold of victory.
