New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Rajasthan chief, Vasundhara Raje, filed her nomination from Jhalrapatan (Jhalawar district) on Monday and promised to bring a change in the state if her party was voted to power.

Addressing a meeting after filing her papers, Raje asked people to vote for a change in the leadership at both state and the Centre. “We will win from here, Rajasthan, and then form a government in Delhi — under the leadership of Narendra Modi,” she said.

“I assure you that I will leave no stone unturned to form government and then we will work together to bring change in Rajasthan,” she added.

Touching a raw nerve of the people of Jhalwar, she said the area suffered an outbreak of dengue and farmers lost their crops, but they received no compensation from the Congress-led state government.

“Rajasthan stands second in crime against women, it is extremely shameful. The power to make country Congress-free lies with you,” said the former chief minister of state.

200 assembly seats in Rajasthan go to polls on December 1, while counting shall be conducted on December 8.
