Here are some facts about Congress MP Priya Dutt.

Priya Dutt is the daughter of the famous Bollywood film stars Sunil Dutt and Nargis.

She has BA degree in sociology from Sophia College, Mumbai University. She has also studied at the Center for the Media Arts in New York.

Following her parent’s footsteps into politics, she joined the Congress Party.

Currently an MP, she represents Mumbai North Central.

In the 14 Lok Sabha election, she had won the Mumbai North West constituency.

She has co-authored a memoir Mr and Mrs Dutt: Memories of our Parents, in 2007.

Priya Dutt also runs a charity, The Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust.

Priya Dutt is married to Owen Roncon. The couple has two sons, Siddharth and Sumair.
